Roseau, Dominica – December 22, 2023 – The Government of Dominica, following a comprehensive review of prices for the regulatory cycle spanning November 27 to December 15, has approved a significant reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
Commencing December 27, 2023, consumers can expect the following adjustments in retail prices:
- Gasoline: $13.91 per gallon, reflecting a reduction of $0.34 or 2.4%.
- Diesel: $13.41 per gallon, marking a decrease of $0.89 or 6.2%.
- Kerosene: $11.32 per gallon, indicating a reduction of $1.41 or 11%.
This reduction is attributed to the notable increase in US crude production, resulting in a substantial surge in available inventory on the market. The Government of Dominica remains committed to implementing measures aimed at mitigating inflation and alleviating the impact of adverse market forces on consumers.
