As the year draws to a close, the Central Hamlet of the Marigot Constituency, under the leadership of Ms. Sue Davis, Chairperson of the Marigot Central Branch of the Dominica Labour Party, expressed gratitude to collaborators who enabled the arm of the party to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate.
In a heartwarming gesture, the hamlet group provided over 30 freshly prepared meals on Christmas Eve Sunday (December 24th, 2023) for the less fortunate, as they have done on occasions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Ms. Davis conveyed her appreciation to the Prime Minister and Party Leader, along with all contributors who made this act of kindness possible.
“We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for keeping us thus far,” expressed Ms. Sue Davis. The initiative aimed to share the spirit of Christmas and bring joy to the sick and shut-in members of the community. Merry Christmas to all and a prosperous New Year!
