Dominica has left an indelible mark on the recently concluded OECS Honey Show, showcasing the excellence of local apiarists and their bee-related products. The event, a platform for beekeepers across the region, witnessed Dominica’s impressive performance with multiple awards.
Nathaniel Lovell emerged as a standout, claiming the titles of Best Light Amber Honey, Best Dark Amber Honey, and the coveted Best in Show. Lovell’s dedication to producing high-quality honey was evident, earning him well-deserved recognition in multiple categories.
Terri Henry also made a significant impact, securing awards in various categories. Her Beeswax Candle was recognized as the Best, while her Commercial Product and Photography entries stood out, earning her accolades for creativity and craftsmanship.


In addition, Dominica’s collaborative effort in the form of a joint entry for Beeswax block garnered a notable second place, underscoring the collective strength of the local beekeeping community.
