The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has achieved a significant milestone with the successful completion of the Foundation Fingerprint Course, conducted from January 29, 2024, to February 9, 2024. This training initiative underscores the RSLPF’s unwavering commitment to continuously upgrade the skills and expertise of its officers.
Under the guidance of Mr. Narace Ramnarine from the Law Enforcement Advanced Development Company Ltd (L.E.A.D.C.O), eight dedicated officers participated in this rigorous training program. Facilitated by a distinguished fingerprint expert from the United Kingdom (UK) with over forty-four years of experience in the field, the course provided participants with an in-depth understanding of fingerprint identification techniques.
The comprehensive training received accreditation, ensuring that the skills and knowledge acquired by the officers are internationally recognized and respected. This accreditation highlights the RSLPF’s dedication to offering its officers world-class training opportunities, further solidifying its commitment to professional development.
