The Valley, Anguilla – The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) has confirmed a series of arrests between April 19 and April 21, 2025, tied to multiple criminal investigations across the island. The arrests span offences ranging from firearm possession and threats to kill, to drug-related charges and assault on law enforcement.
According to a press release issued by the RAPF on April 23, 2025, the following individuals were taken into custody:
- On April 21, a 19-year-old male from Island Harbour was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and ammunition and threats to kill. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
- Also on April 21, a 39-year-old male, also from Island Harbour, was arrested on suspicion of theft. He, too, remains in custody as investigations progress.
- On April 19, Shaquielle Charbonier (29) of The Farrington was arrested and later charged with possession of a firearm, ammunition, and cultivation of cannabis. He appeared in court and was remanded to prison on April 22.
- Also on April 19, Wayne Curtis Hendrickson of North Side was arrested and charged with possession and cultivation of cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of EC$40,000 with one surety on April 22. Bail conditions include:
- Immediate surrender of all travel documents.
- A prohibition from leaving Anguilla without court permission.
- In a separate case, 30-year-old Shevaun Fleming of Island Harbour was charged with assault on a police officer on April 19. She was granted station bail in the amount of EC$10,000 with one surety.
The RAPF reiterated its commitment to upholding public safety and emphasized that maintaining law and order remains a top priority for the protection of both residents and visitors to Anguilla.
