Marigot, Dominica – March 16, 2025 – The Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is set to mark a historic milestone as it convenes the 76th Meeting of the OECS Authority, which will also feature the Accession Ceremony of Saint Martin to the regional body. This momentous event will be chaired by Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, and will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

The OECS, an intergovernmental organization established in 1981, plays a pivotal role in economic integration, trade, diplomacy, and sustainable development among its member states. The accession of Saint Martin signifies a strengthened commitment to regional cooperation, fostering greater socio-economic ties between the French Caribbean territory and its Eastern Caribbean counterparts.
