The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has launched an investigation into the deaths of two foreign nationals whose bodies were recovered at sea in the Palm Tree area on the evening of Saturday, June 1, 2024. The individuals were pronounced dead by the District Medical Doctor shortly after being found.
The CDPF has expressed its sincere condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the deceased as they begin their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. The identities of the deceased and further details about the incident have not been released, pending the ongoing investigation.
“The investigation into this matter is currently active,” stated a spokesperson for the CDPF. “We are committed to uncovering the facts surrounding these unfortunate deaths and will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
