ROSEAU, Dominica – July 29, 2026 — Miss Dominica 2026, Dainisha Eusebe, is set to represent the Commonwealth of Dominica at the Bank of Nevis International Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant, scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2026, in St. Kitts and Nevis. The appearance will mark her official debut on the regional pageant stage.
The competition forms part of the 52nd Nevis Culturama Festival, which runs from July 23 to August 4, 2026, and stands as one of the Caribbean’s premier cultural celebrations. The pageant brings together delegates from across the region to showcase national identity through talent, cultural expression, intellect, and advocacy, while promoting regional unity.
Since capturing the Miss Dominica 2026 title, Eusebe has actively fulfilled her ambassadorial role, participating in national engagements and undergoing intensive preparation in stage presentation, public speaking, and cultural representation.
In expressing her enthusiasm ahead of the competition, Eusebe described the opportunity as both an honour and a responsibility.
“Representing Dominica on the regional stage is an honour. As the Nature Isle of the Caribbean, we possess a rich cultural heritage and a unique identity that I am proud to share with the wider region. This journey is not solely about competing for a crown, but about serving as an ambassador and building meaningful regional connections,” she stated.
Chief Executive Officer of the Discover Dominica Authority, Marva Williams, underscored the importance of regional pageants in promoting destination awareness and showcasing the nation’s talent.
“Dainisha has demonstrated dedication and professionalism throughout her tenure as Miss Dominica. Her participation provides an excellent platform to highlight our culture and further position Dominica as a destination of choice within the Caribbean,” Williams noted.
Eusebe, 24, hails from Grand Bay and holds an Associate’s Degree in Geography from the Dominica State College. She has also served as a Land Use Officer within the Physical Planning Division, bringing both academic and professional experience to her role as national ambassador.
Beyond the competition, Eusebe hopes her presence will inspire greater regional interest in Dominica.
“When I step onto that stage, I want to reflect confidence, pride, and authenticity. If my participation encourages others across the region to learn more about Dominica and even visit our shores, then I will consider that a meaningful success,” she added.
She also extended gratitude to Dominicans locally and abroad for their continued support, emphasizing the importance of national pride and unity as she prepares to represent the country.
The Ministry of Tourism and the Discover Dominica Authority are encouraging citizens at home and across the diaspora to rally behind Eusebe as she carries the Dominican flag on the regional stage.
