Leading the charge into Carnival 2024 is Mical Teja, the dynamic lead singer of D All Stars. With two highly requested songs, “DNA” and the groovy anthem “How Ah Living” by Farmer Nappy, Teja is on a trajectory to dominate the upcoming season. His recently released gem, “Runaway,” pays homage to the late Explainer’s 1982 classic “Lorraine,” showcasing Teja’s musical versatility and artistry.
Teja, reflecting on his journey, expressed the significance of finding a home with D All Stars, emphasizing the importance of a well-rehearsed sound that resonates with the band’s musicality. The anticipation is high as fans eagerly await his performance during the Carnival.

Nadia Batson’s runaway hit “Market” emerges as the true ladies’ anthem for Carnival 2024, empowering women across age groups and backgrounds. Patrice Roberts also contributes with the vulnerable “Anxiety,” a song that lays bare the singer’s innermost battles and has the potential to shake up the Carnival fetes.
In the male-dominated Soca scene, Lyrikal stands out with uplifting tracks like “Blessed Day” and the infectious “Stick On.” His collaboration with calypso legend David Rudder, “Major Damage,” holds the promise of becoming a Carnival classic.
Bunji Garlin maintains his iconic status with thought-provoking singles like “Classic Like” and others, showcasing his versatility on different rhythms.
