ROSEAU, Dominica, (February 16, 2024) – After fifteen years of exemplary service as CEO/Director of Tourism, Mr. Colin Piper will step down from his role at the Discover Dominica Authority, effective May 5th, 2024.
Reflecting on his tenure, Mr. Piper expressed gratitude for the support extended to him by the Board of Directors, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Government of Dominica. He remarked, “I am grateful for the collaborative efforts and shared commitment to the success of our destination. Together, we have achieved numerous milestones, and I am confident that the Authority is well poised to achieve even greater accomplishments in the future.”
Mr. Piper played a pivotal role in steering the tourism sector through significant challenges, including natural disasters and global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
As Mr. Piper transitions out of his role, the Ministry of Tourism, The Discover Dominica Authority, and the Dominica Festivals Committee jointly extend their heartfelt appreciation for his years of dedicated service and significant contributions. They also convey their best wishes for his future endeavors.
