Grenada: Police probe Tragic Discovery on Carriacou Beach

L’Esterre Paradise, Carriacou – March 12, 2024

The Royal Grenada Police Force is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of two bodies on L’Esterre Paradise Beach in Carriacou

On Saturday, March 9, 2024, authorities were alerted to the presence of two individuals on the beach. Upon arrival, police found David John Foster, 76, a retiree from the United Kingdom, lying lifeless on the sand. Despite immediate medical attention, Mr. Foster was pronounced dead at the scene. His companion, Rosaline Foster, 77, also of the United Kingdom, was rushed to Princess Royal Hospital in Carriacou, where she too was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

The Royal Grenada Police Force is actively pursuing leads and conducting a thorough investigation into this distressing event. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the precise cause of death for both individuals.

The tragic loss of David and Rosaline Foster has deeply saddened the community of Carriacou and beyond. As authorities work diligently to unravel the circumstances surrounding their deaths, the public is urged to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation.
