The West Indies has secured a four-wicket victory against England In a stunning turnaround, in the opening game of the T20 series in Bridgetown. England’s commanding start, led by Captain Jos Buttler and Phil Salt, faded as they collapsed to be bowled out for 171. Andre Russell, making a notable return to the West Indies squad, played a pivotal role in restricting England with impressive bowling figures of 3-19.
England’s innings began with an explosive opening partnership, reaching 77-0 at the end of the powerplay and 112-2 at the halfway stage. However, the Windies fought back in the second half of the innings, showcasing remarkable bowling performances from Russell and Romario Shepherd.
