“Texas Hold ‘Em” stormed to the top spot of the chart, marking Beyoncé’s first-ever No. 1 single in the country genre. Meanwhile, “16 Carriages” secured the impressive ninth position, solidifying Beyoncé’s dominance across multiple musical genres.
This achievement makes Beyoncé only the second solo woman, alongside Taylor Swift, to achieve a No. 1 single on the Hot Country Songs chart without accompanying artists. In addition, Beyoncé becomes the first woman to top both the Hot Country and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts since their inception in 1958, joining an elite group of artists such as Morgan Wallen, Justin Bieber, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Ray Charles.
