The Marigot Development Corporation has announced the eagerly anticipated calendar of activities for the 18th Annual Mayfest, set to take place in the scenic northeast community of Marigot, Dominica, under the vibrant theme “Catch Ah Fyah.”
Get ready for an extended festival experience, with two action-packed weekends of events scheduled from Friday, May 3rd to Monday, May 6th, and then again from Friday, May 31st to Monday, June 2nd.
Weekend 1: May 3rd – May 6th, 2024
- Friday, May 3rd: Village Health Fair – Participate in health screenings including cervical, breast, and prostate cancer checks, as well as blood pressure and diabetes checks.
- Saturday, May 4th: Marigot History Working Group – Remember Our Ancestors & Honoring Their Memory Ecumenical Service & Vigil at the Scenic Heroes Park.
- Sunday, May 5th: WESMAR Rangers Athletics Club Invitational Track & Field Event.
- Monday, May 6th: Annual Mayfest Family Funday.
Weekend 2: May 31st – June 2nd, 2024
- Friday, May 31st: Hurricane Colors Fete to kick off the weekend festivities.
- Saturday, June 1st: 18th Annual MayFest International Artist Night.
- Sunday, June 2nd: All White Cooler Fete to close out the 2024 events in style.
